With members including Torquil Campbell, Amy Millan, Emily Haines, Leslie Feist, Kevin Drew, and just about a million of other equally talented musicians, Broken Social Scene is truly a superband that can do no wrong. Perhaps one of their most well-known songs (and one of my personal favourites) is 7/4 (Shoreline) which was featured on a number of EPs and their 2005 self-titled album.
One might assume that a musical group so large would require just as large a group to produce a noteworthy cover of a song, but armandtanzarian made a solo attempt and it was incredibly successful. First of all, I give him props for even attempting that song on his own, but the fact that he was able to do it so well is just beyond praise. I particularly like the solely instrumental portion starting at around 2:48, although his singing is also right on the money.
